Quinquagenarian Tri-Pi Krewe of Abraxas
Welcome to the Quinquagenarian Tri-Pi Krewe of Abraxas, where we celebrate the magic of pi (and pie) in all its glorious forms! Whether it’s the mathematical wonder of π (3.14), the sweet indulgence of apple or cherry pie, or the savory delight of a pizza pie or chicken pot pie, we embrace it all with joy, laughter, and a little bit of Mardi Gras mischief.
Who We Are
We founded this krewe when we turned 50—hence the “Quinquagenarian” in our name—but don’t let that fool you! We welcome members of all ages who share our love of fun, friendship, and, of course, pi(e). Our krewe is a place for those who enjoy a good laugh, a great meal, and a touch of mythical mystery—because let’s be honest, “Abraxas” just sounds cool (and also happens to be the middle name of a krewe founder, Gloria). While revelry is our main goal, if we happen to raise some funds for a good cause along the way, all the better!
Royalty with a Delicious Twist
Our krewe doesn’t just have regular kings and queens—we have Chicken Pot Pi Queens, Princes of Pizza Pi, and other deliciously fun titles. Our royalty reigns not just with beads but with a love of all things pi-related!
